Sometimes
words weigh heavily upon my shoulders,
and a touch on my elbow prickles for half an hour.

I’m never “fine”,
but swimming in a torrent of words
about my pursuit of one crystal accomplishment.

Sometimes,
I feel my words
fall to the ground without being heard.
